We serve over 400 learners annually with about 100 volunteers.
We teach reading, writing, math, personal health literacy, financial literacy, and citizenship in both one-to-one and small group settings.
Our chief partner organization is the Adult Education Division (AED) of Doña Ana Community College (DACC), whose mission is to provide access to education in a supportive and collaborative environment that leads to student success and life-long learning.
We are staffed by a full-time Education Facilitator and the Literacy Services Coordinator, who is also a faculty member of the AE Division of DACC.
We have a twelve member volunteer Advisory Council.
We were granted 501(c)3 status in February, 2004.
What Drives Us?
